What Is A Chemical Peel?
Chemical peels work by breaking apart the bonds between dull, dead skin cells to deeply exfoliate, accelerate cell turnover, and stimulate skin to regenerate itself. Peels are great for smoothing texture, brightening, increasing hydration, clearing acne and congestion, and lightening pigmentation.

What Is A Standard Chemical Peel?
Standard chemical peels work on the surface of the skin and are great for smoothing texture, brightening, increasing hydration, clearing acne and congestion, and lightening surface-level pigmentation. Although standard peels make a great starting point for clients new to chemical peels, they can result in some minor peeling or flaking for 3-5 days afterward. We usually recommend doing a series of 3-6 standard peel, with peels scheduled every 3-4 weeks.
What Is A BioRePeel?
BioRePeel works on a deeper level to give more noticeable results with little-to-no downtime and is our go-to peel for treating stubborn discoloration, sunspots, acne marks, melasma, and fine lines and wrinkles. It gives clients more dramatic results without the discomfort, sheet peeling, or social downtime that can happen with standard peels. A series of 3-6 BioRePeels is usually recommended to see best results and they can be scheduled as soon as 7-14 days apart.

Frequently Asked Questions about Chemical Peels
Chemical peels can treat a number of concerns, including active acne, post-acne marks, rough skin texture, dark spots, uneven skin tone, and fine lines and wrinkles.
You can get peels as often as every week, depending on what skin concerns we are working to correct and what peel we use. Generally speaking, we can do the type of peels we use 7-14 days apart.
In most cases, you will start seeing results after just one chemical peel. For most skin concerns, however, you'll need an average of 3-6 peels.
The downtime will look slightly different for everyone, but generally you may have some dryness and/or skin flaking for a few days after a chemical peel.
